Your adventure begins after breakfast at your lodge, where your Social Adventure Safari guide will meet you for a briefing. Then, enjoy a scenic 45-minute drive from Arusha town to Arusha National Park. On a clear day, you’ll be treated to stunning views of both Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro. Arusha National Park is famous for its black-and-white colobus monkeys, but you’ll also have the chance to spot giraffes, Cape buffalo, zebras, warthogs, elephants, bushbucks, and other iconic African wildlife. The park is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, home to species such as ostriches, guinea fowl, flamingos, pheasants, and turacos.

Upon arriving at the park entrance, you’ll check in and embark on your morning game drive in search of wildlife and natural wonders.

In the afternoon, enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot near the Momella Lakes, which are home to thousands of flamingos and provide a great opportunity for canoeing. If time permits, you may choose to go on an afternoon game drive to spot wildlife you missed earlier or opt for a peaceful canoe safari on the lakes to observe animals up close.

Afterward, you’ll drive back to Arusha, passing through local villages, and have a chance to explore the vibrant city.
