Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport – Transfer to Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania, a land of unforgettable experiences. Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your Social Adventure Safari guide will transfer you to your lodge/hotel in Arusha, offering a chance to explore the beautiful landscapes along the way. After checking in, enjoy a relaxing dinner and unwind before the exciting wildlife safari begins the next day.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park & Home Hosted Lunch
After breakfast, head to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and vibrant pink flamingos. Enjoy a short game drive through the park to explore its diverse wildlife. In the afternoon, experience a home-hosted lunch in Mto wa Mbu, followed by a cultural excursion featuring a visit to banana and rice plantations, and Makonde wood carvings. End the day with dinner and an overnight stay at a lodge in Ngorongoro highlands.

Day 3: Journey to Serengeti – Game Drive En Route
After a hearty breakfast, depart with a packed lunch and begin your journey toward the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. This scenic drive takes you through the spectacular Ngorongoro Conservation Area, offering early glimpses of wildlife and sweeping views of Tanzania’s untamed beauty. Upon entering the central Serengeti, you’ll be welcomed by the iconic open plains, dotted with acacia trees and teeming with wildlife.
After check-in, enjoy lunch at a charming spot nestled in the heart of the savannah, followed by a relaxing afternoon taking in the serenity of the landscape before embarking on your first game drive. Traverse the iconic Central Serengeti, home to big cats, herds of wildebeest, elephants, giraffes, and over 500 bird species. Return in the evening to your lodge for a cozy dinner and reflect on the day’s unforgettable moments.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Breathtaking Wildlife Safari
After an early breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, home to the Big Five and abundant wildlife. Enjoy a game drive through the crater, where you’ll have the chance to spot lions, elephants, rhinos, and more.
In the afternoon, enjoy lunch at the crater floor and continue your adventure with an afternoon game drive, including a visit to Lake Magadi to see pink flamingos and birdlife. Afterward, ascend and drive to a lodge in Lake Eyasi for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Meet the Hadzabe & Datoga Tribes – A Unique Cultural Experience
After breakfast, you’ll head to the Hadzabe and Datoga Villages near Lake Eyasi for an immersive cultural experience. Begin with a hunting expedition, joining the Hadzabe as they track and hunt, followed by honey gathering, berry picking, and bush walks. Later, visit the neighboring Datoga tribe, where you’ll experience traditional dancing and learn about their farming and crafting skills, as well as their deep connection to livestock. After a fascinating day, your guide will transfer you to a lodge in Ngorongoro highland for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Tarangire National Park – Explore the Baobab Landscape
After breakfast, embark on a thrilling game drive through Tarangire National Park, known for its iconic Baobab trees and large elephant herds. A picnic lunch in the park will provide a relaxing break before continuing your afternoon game drive. Afterward, head to a lodge/camp in Tarangire for dinner and an overnight stay.

After a delicious breakfast at the lodge, begin your drive back to Arusha, passing through local villages with opportunities for cultural exploration. Enjoy your lunch Arusha Coffee Lodge. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for a little sightseeing in the town. If you wish to extend your journey, consider heading to Zanzibar for a relaxing beach holiday.
